The role
Corporate Receptionists run the front desk at head offices, financial institutions, law firms, embassies, and members' clubs. Part host, part coordinator, part air-traffic control — you'll manage visitors, meeting rooms, couriers, calls, and the daily rhythm of senior people in and out of the building. Often partnered with our Corporate Security teams to deliver a single, polished front-of-building experience.
Who it suits
You'll thrive here if you're polished, articulate, and comfortable around senior people. Good with names. Calm under multiple priorities. Unfazed when the morning brings three couriers, a CEO's guest, and a meeting room change all at once.
A typical shift
You'll arrive early to set up the desk, refresh the meeting rooms, and review the day's diary. Through the day it's visitor welcomes, sign-ins, badge issuing, meeting room bookings and AV support, courier and post handling, switchboard and call routing. Quieter periods are for diary management, ordering, and prep for tomorrow's arrivals.
Requirements & expectations
- Previous corporate or hotel reception experience
- Right to work in the UK
- Smart business attire and high grooming standards
- Excellent spoken and written English; second languages welcome
- Comfort with visitor management systems, Outlook, and basic AV
Skills you’ll gain
