The role
Event Security teams cover concerts, festivals, sports fixtures, conferences, and one-off activations. You'll work in tight teams of 10–50, briefed and deployed across access points, pit fronts, crowds, and back-of-house. It's adrenaline-paced, weather-tested, and never boring.

A typical shift
Arrival is early — kit check, site walk, deployment briefing. From doors-open you'll handle ticket and bag checks, crowd flow, pit work or stage barriers, response to incidents, and medical escalations. Through the headliner and load-out, the pace stays up. You'll debrief at the end and break down kit clean and ready for the next show.
Requirements & expectations
- Valid front-line SIA licence (Door Supervision)
- Right to work in the UK
- Physical fitness and stamina for long, often outdoor shifts
- Team-first mindset — you work with the same crew all night
- Reliability — events can’t run a person short
Skills you’ll gain
- Crowd dynamics and crush-prevention awareness
- Pit and barrier work, plus artist liaison basics
- Major incident protocol and emergency evacuation
- Team operations under live, time-critical conditions
- Pathway into Team Leader, Event Supervisor and Crowd Safety qualifications
