We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porters to support the kitchen and events teams at a prestigious 5★ hotel in the E16 area of London. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are energetic, responsible and able to work effectively in a busy events and hospitality environment.
The Role
As an Events Kitchen Porter, you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen and catering teams during a range of events and functions. You will help ensure the smooth running of the kitchen operation by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, assisting with equipment and supporting the team throughout each event.

- Location: 5★ Hotel, E16, London
- Pay: £13.50 per hour
This is an events-based position, with shifts available according to the hotel's events schedule. Candidates should be flexible and prepared to work during busy event periods, including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas
* Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes and catering equipment
* Support chefs and catering staff during events and functions
* Keep kitchen and preparation areas clean, organised and well maintained
* Assist with the movement and organisation of kitchen equipment and supplies
* Clear and clean equipment and work areas throughout and after events
* Dispose of waste correctly and maintain clean waste areas
* Follow all hotel hygiene, health and safety procedures
* Work efficiently as part of a busy events and kitchen team
* Complete any additional duties requested by the kitchen or events supervisor
Requirements
* Previous Kitchen Porter or hospitality experience is preferred
* Events or banqueting experience is an advantage
* Reliable, hardworking and responsible attitude
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy events environment
* Good standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness
* Physically able to carry out general kitchen and event support duties
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
* Right to work in the UK
