The Role
As a Linen Porter, you will play an important role in supporting the housekeeping department by ensuring the efficient distribution, collection and storage of linen throughout the hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Distribute clean linen and towels to the housekeeping department as required.
- Collect used and soiled linen from designated areas and transport it to the appropriate collection points.
- Ensure linen is stored correctly and kept organised in linen rooms and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in linen rooms and designated storage areas.
- Monitor linen supplies and report shortages or damaged items to the housekeeping team.
- Assist Room Attendants and other housekeeping staff with linen-related requests.
- Follow the hotel's hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Handle linen carefully to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Linen Porter or similar housekeeping support role is desirable.
- Previous experience working in a 5-star hotel is essential.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Valid proof of identity.
- Five years of employment and address history.
- Full flexibility and availability to work shifts, including weekends.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- A reliable, professional and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
